Lindsay Clark is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who will be working at Advocate Lutheran General and Advocate Good Shepherd Hospitals. Lindsay completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelors in Science in Nursing at Valparaiso University in Indiana. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 9 years in intensive care until she obtained her graduated degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Illinois University. After graduating she spent 4 years gaining extensive experience as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner in the Northern Suburbs. Most recently, she decided to narrow her focus and specialize in Radiation Oncology. She is training at the Northwestern Cancer Center in Warrenville educating new patients, helping manage side effects and monitoring patients during follow up appointments.
In her free time Lindsay loves to spend time with her husband and two children. They love outdoor activities such as ice skating, snow skiing, swimming and water skiing. They spend their summers performing on the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team. When asked why she choose Radiation Oncology she stated, “Oncology is such a unique and challenging field. Each patient is unique and empowering in different ways. Their strength motivates and inspires me to learn more in order to provide the best care I can.”
