Dr. Qualls practices primarily at Ascension Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village. She has conducted research in the areas of head and neck cancers, CNS malignancies, cervix cancer, and proton radiation therapy. She is interested in and treats a broad range of cancers, with particular interest in gynecologic malignancies, benign and malignant CNS tumors, and head and neck cancers. She has experience in using numerous radiation techniques, including 3-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy, proton therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery including Gamma Knife radiosurgery and linac-based radiosurgery, and HDR brachytherapy for gynecologic malignancies. She is passionate about delivering high quality patient care and the relationships she builds with patients throughout the course of their treatment.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing piano, photography, exploring the Chicago culinary scene, and wine tasting.
