Dr. Lee knows that meeting with a cancer doctor can be one of the most significant appointments in someone’s life. He is dedicated to giving every person who entrusts him with their care the time and personal attention that is needed so that they are fully informed and confident in their treatment decisions.
He has conducted research in the areas of gastrointestinal cancers, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), radiosurgery, and medical physics. His work has been presented at multiple national meetings and published in peer-reviewed medical journals. While Dr. Lee treats a broad range of cancers, he has a particular interest in malignancies of the prostate, head & neck, and central nervous system. He is experienced in techniques including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceutical therapies such as Radium-223 (“Xofigo”) and Lutetium-177 (“Pluvicto”). He has expertise in the use of rectal spacers to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects for men receiving radiation therapy for prostate cancer; as a result, his clinic has been designated as a “Barrigel Center of Excellence”.
Dr. Lee was born in Chicago and raised in northwest Indiana. He enjoys tennis, hiking, and traveling.
