Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center has 335 acute-care beds and 17 ambulatory care satellites. The Creticos Cancer Center is a facility dedicated solely to the comprehensive care of cancer patients. The organization of the center fosters a multidisciplinary approach between cancer specialists including medical, radiation, gynecologic, and surgical oncologists.

Our physician team is highly trained, and as nationally recognized cancer experts, they are attuned to the latest and most important treatment advances.

Our patients benefit from a team approach which includes medical specialists, oncology-certified nurses, social workers, pharmacists, specially trained therapists, and a multilingual staff — all working together to provide state-of-the-art cancer care in a community setting.

We stay at the leading-edge of new breakthroughs in cancer therapy through our involvement in clinical trials offered by the National Cancer Institute as well as collaborations with university medical centers.

Through participation in clinical trials, we are able to contribute to the body of knowledge in the medical community in the fight against cancer.

The Creticos Cancer Center is now home to the first hospital-based satellite location of Gilda’s Club Chicago, which is a free community resource center to anyone who has been touched by cancer.
